SPANISH RED CROSS SHOWS THE MIGRANTS THAT GUARDS HOW THE EMERGENCY KITS ARE CREATED

Last August, a delegation of personnel of the provincial delegation of the Red Cross Alicante visited the facilities of Jomipsa with a group of immigrants arriving from the coasts of Africa.

As part of the project program, it helps to integrate the Spanish Red Cross refugee funded by the Ministry of the Interior, the workers and volunteers of the Spanish NGO try to accompany immigrant groups in the difficult task of integration into the new environment. Likewise, they try, through training programs for newly arrived people, to learn the culture, the way of interacting, the language, the manners and to develop themselves in a world totally unknown to them.

Red Cross also chooses collaborating companies such as Jomipsa to learn about their production processes, the distribution of roles and teamwork. During the visit, we showed them in first person the production process of the emergency kits for the attention of basic needs, which we manufactured in Jomipsa and of which they have been the final users.

At the end of the presentation, the group commented to the Jomipsa team about their experience with Jomipsa products. – “After 3 days in a boat, wet and not eating, receiving the kits you taught us was a salvation for us.” One of them commented.

From Jomipsa we thank the Red Cross for letting us share this experience with the people who are the recipients of our products.
