We develop our products without forgetting factors such as the number of people, their context and their cultural preferences. Our kits leave our facilities on light, transportable and compact formats, always achieving our clients´ specifications.
Side by side, we work on the best solution with different players
Having a global network of suppliers means that we undertake responsibility for the products we develop, meeting the required specifications. Through our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 quality systems, we can guarantee compliance with expectations for each order.
What´s more, to guarantee that they are produced in compliance with the requirements of the human rights, labour rights and environmental and anti-corruption policy commitments we undertake, we have in-factory inspection services to certify that each product is manufactured responsibly.
We are aware that each project is different, and that each humanitarian situation’s needs can vary substantially. For this reason, at Jomipsa, we are specialised in developing products that are adapted to each project’s particularities. Bearing cultural, linguistic, climate and gender aspects in mind, our product-development specialists contribute all their know-how to provide for effective use of our products and to bring dignity to the people who will receive them.
Jomipsa aligns with the work of main humanitarian aid organisations and agencies to effectively accommodate their needs and meet their requirements when natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies occur.
Our experience, and work over the years with Governments, UN Agencies and Humanitarian Aid Organisations, has taught us the importance of our role in the supply chain, and to act as another member of the human team working to offer a better world to those who need it the most.
Access to clean, drinkable water is one of the main pillars of survival in any humanitarian crisis. At Jomipsa, we have items in our catalogue that guarantee proper water storage, by and for the affected individuals. We also work with water purification systems, such as water treatment tablets, which are essential for survival until a supply system can be installed in the affected area.
Extra-wide filler Bucket (with or w/o tap)
The new 14L extra-wide filler point Bucket, designed under OXFAM specifications, intended for safe water storage, decreasing the risk of contamination. Its new 100mm extra-wide filler point reduces water loss while filling and guarantees quality of the water inside.
Jerrycan 10l./20l. Semi-Collapsible (UNHCR standards)
Jerrycans are the most effective solution for safe water storage during the first stage of an emergency. They can be folded to optimize their logistics, and can be used to transport, store and consume water, decreasing the risk of contamination. With the strap, the Jerrycans are resistant to potentially being dropped, and since they can be distributed with or without a tap, they are the perfect solution for access to potable water.
Jerrycan 10l. Collapsible
Manufactured according to UNHCR specifications, Collapsible Jerrycans are another solution offered by Jomipsa for safe water storage and consumption during a humanitarian crisis. Its lowdensity polyethylene composition makes it resistant, and its folding design means it can be easily stacked to be distributed amongst affected individuals.
Water purification tablets
Water treatment tablets are essential to provide the population with sufficiently safe water until a supply system is available. Lightweight and easy-to-use, they are a fundamental element for any emergency.
Made of high-density polyethylene, following IFRC standards, these tarps are one of the most widely-used options to protect affected individuals in humanitarian crises. They can be supplied in rolls or in individual units.
Items such as the Kitchen Sets are a huge help in normal operations for any camp with displaced individuals. Having kitchen items is vital for affected individuals to achieve self-sufficiency. Under IFRC specifications, kitchen kits include all elements necessary, both to cook and to serve the meal to a 5-person family.
We also provide personal protection solutions, such as sleeping bags, blankets, etc. These elements are essential to protect affected individuals from inclement weather and the cold in extreme situations.
Our clothing kits are designed to help bring dignity to people who have lost everything. Footwear, warm clothing, underwear, malongs, hijabs, etc., are functional and necessary elements. We adapt our kits, bearing in mind the cultural background of their recipients.
Family Hygiene Kits
Vital to keep minimum hygiene standards in the family unit. Adapted to UN specifications, they have all the elements necessary for personal and household hygiene. Each one of the items included has an icon code that helps to identify correct use.
Personal Hygiene Kits
Our personal hygiene kits were developed for several days of individual use for people without a home. They may contain informational manuals to help raise awareness in recipients of the importance of personal hygiene.
Reusable Menstrual Kits
Our reusable sanitary napkin kits were a turning point for several communities without access to such necessary personal hygiene items. The kits are a solution designed to provide greater hygiene and protection to women all over the world. They are also affordable and environmentally respectful.
Emergency Ration Packs
Emergency Ration Packs are food packs specifically prepared to meet an individual´s needs throughout a determined period in a hygienic, safe way. They can be entirely personalised and are self-sufficient, with everything necessary to be consumed, hot or cold. Their long shelf life means they can be stored for over 2 years, and they are available when needed.
In situations of displacement, and where people do not have minimum resources, access to food becomes a serious issue. At Jomipsa, we develop personalised food kits to be periodically distributed to those who need them the most.
Thanks to our great experience and large network of international producers, we can also supply bulk food anywhere in the world, with defined specifications. We always have the security that our demanding quality controls provide to suppliers who require our strict certifications, guaranteeing a stable, quality product, served on time, anywhere in the world.
Child Friendly Space
A Child Friendly Space kit is a safe place where children´s specific needs are cared for after a humanitarian crisis. These kits, created under World Vision standards, help children to return to their routine, offering them activities, games and education.
When an emergency occurs, children are the most susceptible to its consequences. With our kits, we prioritise care for the littlest ones in emergency situations.
The School kits are used in back-to-school operations after humanitarian crises all over the world. The kits contain materials for teachers and 40 students, to continue educating the little ones as soon as 72 hours after an emergency has occurred.
Our experience has made us regular suppliers of many kinds of kits for all kinds of agencies and humanitarian aid organisations, but also individual items, such as our stackable toys, to meet the educational needs of little ones.
At Jomipsa, we have a method that helps us to work methodically and take care of the entire production process, from consulting to delivery, and beyond.
